Volunteering and other Class Support
There are many opportunities for volunteering this year! Field trips, special projects, chess practice, Art Lit, math/spelling groups, Scholastic book orders, grading, and production room work are among our many needs. Volunteer clearance must be renewed every year, so make sure yours is updated now. The process only takes a few minutes, but it may take as long as 6 weeks for us to receive the results.
UPCOMING TRIPSWe have several field trips planned for the year: Rice Rock Museum, Oregon Historical Society and Wells Fargo Museum, The Oregon Symphony, and possibly an engineering/tech-related trip. Ideally, we'd like 5 chaperones per class. Watch for dates and details.

AT HOME OPPORTUNITIESI have many volunteer activities that
can be done at home. Like to sew? I need a drama costume/prop maker. Enjoy cutting things out? Help me make math games for the class. Handy with the computer? Consider helping me create e-books or maintain the SeeSaw account. The possibilities are endless! |
